Details & History:

An exquisite Louis XV–style vitrine, richly crafted in mahogany with finely chased gilt bronze mounts and serpentine glass panels on all sides. Designed for the display of treasured collectibles, its mirrored interior and glass shelves reflect and amplify light, creating a jewel-box effect that elevates any object within.

The piece rests on cabriole legs with acanthus and rocaille ormolu accents, while the original working key and tassel lend an added note of romance. The upper gallery and lower apron are detailed with neoclassical motifs — a testament to the French dedication to artistry in even the smallest details.
