Petite French Settee in Golden Velvet
A stunning French Louis XV–style settee upholstered in a rich golden velvet, bringing warmth, charm, and an unmistakably European elegance to any room. With its gently scalloped back, deep tufting, carved apron, and graceful cabriole legs, this piece captures the romance and refinement of 18th-century French design.
The velvet is beautifully saturated — a warm honey-gold that shifts softly in the light, giving the piece incredible depth and character. Its petite scale makes it perfect for intimate spaces while still delivering major impact. Whether styled in an entryway, bedroom, living room, or reading nook, this settee radiates old-world beauty.

Condition Notes
This settee carries the soft, graceful signs of a life well lived. The seat cushion shows a gentle indentation beneath the fabric from years of use — the kind of natural settling we expect in antique upholstery, and nothing that affects comfort or structural integrity.
There is light pilling on the left side when facing the piece (photographed), subtle and easily softened with a styled throw or pillow.
The wooden frame shows a warm, authentic patina throughout that only enhances its antique character. Overall, the settee is sturdy, well-kept, and ready to be enjoyed for many more years. A few layered pillows complete the look
