Dated 1987, it was awarded at the Concours d’Animaux de Viande — a regional meat and livestock show celebrating excellence in animal breeding and husbandry.

Hand-painted in warm tones of ochre and white, the plaque bears the raised lettering “Grand Prix d’Honneur”, marking it as a top honor within its category. These plaques were traditionally mounted to stable doors, farm gates, or display boards, serving as enduring symbols of craftsmanship, pride, and rural prestige.
