Antique 19th C. Bronze Lion Pool Table Corner on Stand
SOLD SEPARATELY
With a deeply modeled mane, expressive eyes, and a mouth framed by curling ornament, this bronze lion once had a job at the corner of a pool table. A ball would emerge through the lion’s mouth, making the sculpted face part of the way the table worked.
Each salvaged corner has been mounted on a slim black metal stand for freestanding display. The simple base brings out the depth of the casting and the warm patina across the lion’s face. It’s a distinctive piece for a modern game room, especially on a bar shelf or console near the table.
