20th C. Crystal & Gilt Trio Dish

A wonderfully decorative French serving piece featuring a beautifully modeled gilt bronze rooster surrounded by three cut crystal bowls. The proud rooster forms the sculptural centerpiece, rendered with wonderfully detailed plumage and surrounded by richly patterned crystal vessels finished with gilt bronze mounts.

Equal parts functional and ornamental, this piece would have traditionally made a striking presentation for bonbons, chocolates, nuts, condiments, or other small delicacies. Today, it is just as beautiful styled on a bar, dining table, or console, the sculptural rooster giving it that distinctly collected French character we love.
