The first depicts the Hof van Pittem, with its tiered façade, tower, and walled entrance. The second shows the House of the Seven Towers, identified in the Latin caption with Luis López Gallo, Baron of Male. A coat of arms in the upper corner adds a heraldic detail to the view.

Both compositions are documented in editions of Antonius Sanderus’s Flandria Illustrata, a historical and topographical work on Flanders.
